One of the most popular Paganini Caprices, this is an excellent study in double-stops, daring jumps and the ricochet stroke. Aside from the transposition to G-Major from the original E-Major (following the tradition of Luigi Silva), changes to the original violin text are reduced to a minimum - only when the editor found it quite unavoidable.
