The first section of the Andantino is
completely by Mozart. The development section was completed by Ernst
Lewicki using harmonic progressions from a Mozart piano sonata. The
recapitulation uses Mozart’s music in repetition, as he probably would
have done himself. The brief coda is also by Lewicki.
The original key was B-flat major, but the German cellist Julius Klengel
put it into the more compatibile key of A-Major.
